Colors: Copic sketch markers, white acrylic paint Blurb: I really need some new inspiration... - - - - - - - - - - - I drew the lineart a while ago but never completed it, and by the time I got around to coloring it I wanted to make some changes, but I got lazy and just decided to color it as it was. I had a lot of fun doing the background - the scratched up wall and the painted wing. Drawing the "earth" was also fun. The cloth is very boring though. I haven't seen many dark backgrounds done with Copic markers, so I took a risk and played around with colors and layering effects (because I don't own many dark colors). I'm really sending my copics closer to the graveyard with these backgrounds Orz ...but seriously guys, I need some new inspiration. Lately I've been trying to redo concepts that I failed to execute, but it gets boring. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices.
